How does the Compound Interest Calculator work?

The Compounded Annualized Growth Rate (CAGR) of an investment is calculated using the following formula:

CAGR (r) = (Fv/Pv)^(1/n) – 1

where:

  • Fv = Future value of the investment
  • Pv = Present value of the the investment
  • n = Investment period in years

How to use the Compound Interest Calculator
